RK2918 can reach up to 1.2GHz, but all of the current A8, A9 single-core chips, which their performance is similar (A8 chip standard frequency is 800MHz), only difference is performance emphasis of each chip. Such as the RK29 and AMLogic focus on high-definition video playback, the Samsung chip has good integrated performance, but RMVB recoding is weak. The overall performance of Freescale is average, stable, and used on customization or IPC.

Today, this RK2918 solution comes from Shenzhen . (solution provider). No doubt, RK29xx’s video playback capability is very powerful, almost formats of video can be smooth playback. RK29′s 3D graphic chip is Vivante GC800, said it is second only to the PV210 integrated SGX540 and even stronger than AMLogic’s Mali400. I experienced several games there, difficult to distinguish it. In fact, the performance of each chip is same.
